Hint- It is not fame, fortune or even power! They each have used a coach to guide them to great success!
While you may say to yourself-Yea, but they can afford them, I submit to you that is a defensive position that is not easily defended. Every top player, athlete and successful person has either hired a coach, or has an ongoing relationship with a coach or mentor.
When I had my Kitchen Business ” Creative Partners” I too thought I could open, design and sell Kitchens with my BBA in Finance and at that time 14 years of experience alone, with little or no advice. I was both right and wrong, allow me to explain!
Sure I opened a very cute and well design Kitchen & Bath Business and I operated it for 4 years before I realized ” I was working to hard, to many hours for much less money than I thought I would make, my employees took home more than I did! “-Sound familiar?
I hired a consultant & coach! Why is that important, How would it help? He told me what I NEEDED to hear, even if I did not want to hear it! You see, the best coaches will steer you clear of Landmines and hidden cost of making mistakes that you do not realize during the normal operation or set up of your Kitchen and Bath Business. They will recommend strategies and help you maximize opportunities!
What did my coach do for me, put me in touch with the Leaders and other Winners in the Kitchen and Bath Business, Gave me strategies and ideas that once I implemented them, I started working less and making more money. I was also having A LOT MORE FUN! I sold my business 4 years later!
My goal for 2016 is to get as many Mom & Pop Kitchen & Bath Businesses to have $ 100,000.00 in their operating account at all times! I know how easy it is to get started on that path!
Like Tony Robbins says-” It is not the Change that takes the time, it is the Decision and Realization that you need to Change that takes up the most time”
There are several good “Coaches” in our Industry now, look them up, Interview them as most will give you a free hour or Introductory phone consultation. Pick the best coach for your situation and start making your Kitchen and Bath Business Fun and Profitable again!
Let me know your thoughts and reasons for hiring a coach or NOT hiring a coach! Cannot wait to hear from my Kitchen & Bath Fellow Entrepreneurs and Designers!
